Outlook 2007–2019 on Windows (with Calendar & Contacts)
For calendar and contact synchronisation you need the free Outlook CalDav Synchronizer add-in.
- Download and install Outlook CalDav Synchronizer.
- Start Outlook. Go to File → Add Account, enter your name, email address (
yourname@clientdomain.co.uk), and password. Click Next, then Finish. - Go to the CalDav Synchronizer tab and click Synchronization Profiles.
- Click Add multiple profiles, select SOGo, and click OK.
- Click Fetch settings from IMAP/POP3 account, then Discover resources and map to Outlook folders.
- Assign your Personal Calendar to the Calendar folder, address book to Contacts, and tasks to Tasks. Click OK to close all windows.
Note: Outlook 2021, Microsoft 365, and the new Outlook no longer support Autodiscover with standard mail servers. Manual setup (as above) is required. This is a Microsoft change, not a limitation of our platform.
Outlook on macOS
The macOS version of Outlook does not support CalDAV or CardDAV synchronisation and is therefore not recommended. We suggest using Thunderbird or Apple Mail instead.
