Android (IMAP)

Generic Android Setup (Any IMAP client)

1. Open your email app and go to Settings → Add Account.
2. Choose Other (or IMAP) rather than Exchange or Gmail.
3. Enter your email address (yourname@clientdomain.co.uk) and password.
4. When prompted for incoming (IMAP) server details:
   • Server: mail.clientdomain.co.uk
   • Port: 993  |  Security: SSL/TLS
   • Username: yourname@clientdomain.co.uk
5. When prompted for outgoing (SMTP) server details:
   • Server: mail.clientdomain.co.uk
   • Port: 587  |  Security: STARTTLS
   • Username: yourname@clientdomain.co.uk
6. Complete the setup and enter a display name for the account if prompted.

Contacts & Calendars (DAVx5)

To sync your contacts and calendars on Android, install DAVx5; from the Play Store or F-Droid.

1. Open DAVx5; and tap the + button to add an account.
2. Choose Login with URL and username.
3. Enter the base URL: https://mail.clientdomain.co.uk/SOGo/dav/
4. Enter your username (yourname@clientdomain.co.uk) and password.
5. Tap Login, then select the calendars and address books you want to sync.
